Anthony Wakefield & Co. Ltd. and its underwriting arm Connoisseur Underwriting are specialists in insuring Listed Properties. In addition to our in-house facilities, we have now teamed up with selected Insurance Partners to provide a bespoke service to clients that require guidance in arranging the insurance of their properties on the most cost-effective basis.

We have seven Partners, five Insurance Companies that specialise in the field of Listed Properties, an International Loss Adjusting and Risk Surveying Company, a specialist Loss Adjuster in the field of Listed Properties, Fine Art and Specie and a specialist firm of Chartered Surveyors that has an in depth knowledge of dealing with Historic Properties. Together they will allow you to arrange your insurance requirements in the knowledge that your home is adequately protected and that in the event of a claim expert service will be provided.

Arbiter Adjusters

Arbiter Adjusters provide bespoke solutions to the investigation and settlement of claims involving paintings, antiques, collectibles precious metals and stones, historic and listed buildings, landed property estates and general high net worth property claims.

Arbiter Adjusters are appointed by various insurance companies to deal with insurance claims on their behalf. Arbiter are entirely impartial and independent claim experts. Renovation Underwriting

Renovation Underwriting Ltd is an MGA specialising in the provision of bespoke, peace of mind insurance solutions for both domestic and commercial renovators. Our product suite complies with the insurance requirements of the JCT Building Contract suite. We are an advice-led provider with a wide appetite for contract works risk.

We are able to provide solutions for projects ranging from £50k to multiple tens of millions of Pounds. In addition to high levels of expertise and a market-leading insurance product, we are also able to offer a ‘concierge service’ to renovators and developers engaged in larger, more complex projects. This would include checking documents such as building contracts, leasehold agreements and contractor insurances.
